 Single Conveyor Dryer

The conveyor dryer offered by Wolverine Proctor today is the result of many years of production experience. Whether it is a two foot wide (0.6m) unit drying an expensive pharmaceutical product or a 12 foot (3.65m) wide machine producing product at a rate of 100,000 pounds per shift, the components are carefully selected to meet your production requirements.

 Feature List

Extremely uniform air flow and temperature profiling results in unequalled final product uniformity. Multi-zone temperature control, variable airflow volumes and humidity control provides the highest thermal efficiency and gentle drying conditions preventing product degradation
The decision to use up or down airflow (or both), product cooling, conveyor design and selection of heating systems is based on product and process needs.
Multi-zone temperature control, variable airflow volumes and humidity control result in the highest thermal efficiency and most gentle drying conditions to prevent product degradation.
Various types of heating sources are available including steam, direct or indirect natural or LP gas, electric, thermal oil and even geothermal water.
Temperature control systems range from simple on-off indicating controls to the most sophisticated menu driven PLC instruments controlling the dryer and other units in the line.
Self-supporting, segmented, positively driven conveyors are supplied with perforations designed to minimize sifting and increase time between cleanings. Integral traveling guards positively contain the product, minimizing loss while maintaining proper airflow through the product.
The conveyor returns outside of the dryer for ease of cleaning. Integral coolers, if required, stop the drying or roasting process very quickly and discharge products at close to ambient temperatures.
Preassembly in Wolverine Proctor's shops assure ease of field assembly and minimize time during erection.
Lower cost minimal pre-assembly shipments can also be supplied to reduce costs for individual country and shipping requirements.

 SCF II

Sanitary design with welded, watertight roof and sub-floor.
Floor is sloped and drained for rinse-in-place or clean-in-place systems which may be readily fitted to the dryer.
